Nice little fight from even a two pounder keeping the blighter out of the reeds.

Never been in the slightest interested in fishing but I do like that ben fogle programme. Is fishing really that scientific? Surely just chuck a worm on the end of it and they should bite?

All fishing is good, but carp are clever bastards (for fish) and get quite angry when hooked, bream come in like a sack of spuds. Pointless comparing one style against another though.

my son, who is about 7 stone soaking wet, caught a 210 lbs Arapaima in august this year, when we were in Thailand.
now that was some pretty interesting fight!
touch and go at times, but he came through the winner!
